On October 17th 2019, the APLE Collective wanted to showcase all of the amazing activities taking place for #IDEP.
October 17th marks the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The APLE Collective documented the solidarity shown for this monumental day by lighting up the UK map with activities that took place all across the country to commemorate IDEP 2019. Whether you hosted an event in your local community, held a minute silence for lives lost or supported the day on your social media accounts, we want to say a massive well done for getting involved and highlighting the importance of IDEP.
APLE wanted to promote the fantastic work going around the UK surrounding poverty and inequality and talk about proposed solutions – raising awareness of the need to eradicate poverty on a local and national level.
